Harness straps should be at or above shoulder level-check manual.
Belt-positioning booster seats are used with lap\shoulder belt combination
only.
Remember
Do not place infants in the front seat of vehicles with active air
bags.
5-point harnesses provide the best protection
Make sure the lap belt portion fits low and tight to avoid abdominal
injuries.
Children 12 and under are safest when properly restrained in the
rear seat. Keep children rear-facing as long as possible. Always
refer to the child safety seat instructions and vehicle manufacturer's
instructions for weight and height limits, proper use and installation.

A. Due to liability, Rockabye personnel cannot
install car seats or assist with installation of car seats. Manufacturers

check for an Inspection Station by going to the SafeKids.org
website.
Q. Can we be met at the Airport?
A. We offer Airport Meet & Greet service. Since each airport
is designed differently and has different security rules, please
provide us with your arrival/departure information and car rental
information, if available, so we can best assist you with these
arrangements. We do not leave equipment with Car Rental Agencies
due to damage and loss, we are happy to meet you at the car rental
location.
Q. Are there reasons I should not
use the Hotel's crib?
A. Some hotels claim to offer full-size cribs, but actually carry
"hotel size or mini cribs". Many hotels do not use crib
sheets; instead they wrap a regular bed sheet around the crib mattress.
This is dangerous for infants and children and poses a suffocation
and strangulation hazard. Other hotels only supply Pack N Play's
which are not appropriate for many toddlers. Before you commit to
using a hotel's crib, be sure to ask about the size, the sheets
and the condition. If you arrive and are unhappy with what the hotel
has provided, give us a call and we will be happy to accommodate
your needs.
Q. What if I am not satisfied with
the condition of the equipment delivered?
A. We are confident you will be satisfied with the condition of
the equipment. We conduct safety inspections and sanitize each piece
of equipment before each rental. If you are not satisfied with the
equipment, we are happy to replace it as soon as possible. We do
not offer refunds after the rental has ended or exchanges for toys/items
due to a childs lack of interest in the item.
Q. What are the rental terms?
A. Rental terms and conditions are clearly communicated on our website.
We ask you to read them carefully, by completing a reservation with
Rockabye Baby Rentals you agree to all the terms stated. You may
read our complete Terms and Conditions
by clicking this link.
Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. You will be charged a non-refundable $20 Deposit at the time
of reservation. The remainder of the order total will be processed
2 to 5 days prior to the date of delivery. Cancellations made more
than 2-Days in advance of delivery are refunded minus the $20 non-refundable
deposit. Cancellations within 48-hours of delivery date will be
refunded 50% of the order total. Cancellations made after equipment
has left our warehouse or no-show for self pick up will not be refunded.
No refunds are provided for early termination of orders or for equipment
which is not used. Partial refunds will be mailed in the form of
a check unless payment has been made using PayPal. PayPal refunds
will be made via PayPal.
Q. How far in advance should I make
a reservation?
A. You should place your reservation as soon as you know your travel
dates. If you will be traveling around a holiday or high travel
period, we recommend reserving early, as we do sell out at peak
seasons. All equipment is on a First Come/First Served basis, equipment
is not confirmed until the completed rental agreement is received
and payment information is on file. Availability of equipment is
confirmed when a reservation is made.
Q. Why should I rent instead of
traveling with my own equipment?
A. The reasons are many and varied - It is additional and often
bulky luggage. Most Airlines now charge for extra luggage, especially
with International flights. With increased security at Airports
globally, increased luggage per person equals a longer check in
process for all. Airlines can on occasion damage and loose your
equipment in transit, claims are difficult to file and rarely are
compensated in such instances. Traveling with a child is a much
more comfortable and pleasurable experience, knowing all your baby's
needs can be catered to at your final destination.
