For traveling families, renting carseats
simply makes sense. Most airlines are now charging $25 or
more (each way) for extra checked items. Many have now begun
including carseats and strollers as extra checked baggage
and assessing extra fees. Parents should check with the
Airline to fully understand the rules, as this tends to
vary widely among commercial carriers.
Traveling with children can be difficult
in itself, but what happens when you arrive at your destination...but
your car seat arrived broken, or worse yet, is simply not
there? Leave the stress behind and arrange to have clean
and safety inspected car seats ready for your arrival. Rockabye
can deliver your carseat rental to your
final destination or we can meet you at the Airport.
Due to liability,
Rockabye personnel cannot install car seats or assist with
installation of car seats. Manufacturers Instructions are
provided. However, if you are unsure about the installation,
we strongly encourage you to stop at any Fire Station or
Police Station to request assistance.
